My take is weigh your personal risk and eat any of these in small amounts.
Tallow is animal fat, high in saturated fat, has an increased risk of coronary artery disease and occlusion. If you have problems with LDL cholesterol, have been told you have a genetic risk for coronary artery disease (CAD) or have CAD, avoid tallow. Once in a while is fine.
Seed oils (canola, sunflower, soybean, corn) are higher in Omega 6 fatty acids which can increase inflammation but are heart healthy. Other issues have not been proven, with good studies, to be true. If you have an autoimmune disease, you shouldn’t eat a lot of these products. Avoid processed foods as we all tend to overeat these; chips, nachos, etc and frequently eating fried fast foods….
Heart and Immune Healthy Alternatives: olive oil, unprocessed avocado oil, nut oils if no nut allergy.
